If Casyopée is expecting a result from Maxima for too long a time (adjustable in the Options dialog), a message invites you to continue to wait (Yes) or stop (No). This happens in case a command in Casyopée starts a very complicated calculation in Maxima, or an infinite loop. |
The stop command can be sent without waiting for the message, by typing Ctrl-i.
You can test a Maxima infinite loop by entering the formula 'boucle()' in the "Evaluate Formula" box, choosing the Maxima Entry Syntax.
