 For this manual, our choice has been to introduce the user by offering several situations with a step‐by step guidance. It will be complemented by an online reference manual specifying the capabilities and options.

The preliminary activity is about mathematics expressions in Casyopée. 

The first three sections introduce to the notion of function in Casyopée.

The next sections detail the Casyopée’s capabilities in dynamic geometry especially to model dynamic dependencies.

Another  section illustrates how a curve of a function defined symbolically can be handled as a geometrical object and the case of parametric curves.

Finally, the manual presents geometrical locus.
