"Create
Calculation" button
An entry box opens. You enter a formula involving Casyopee objects, as
well as coordinates and distances involving named points.
"Precision"
Selector
Selects the number of digits that appear after the decimal
point in the list of numerical values
List of geometrical
calculations
Below the "Create calculation", the geometric calculations tab is
splitted vertically. On the left the list displays the calculations
created
with Casyopee.
Dependency
This entry is in the context menu of the list of geometrical
calculations. A box indicates
what the calculation depends on (point or parameter).
List of numerical values
This list is on the right of the geometric calculations list. It
displays the numerical value of the corresponding calculation (if
checked) The accuracy is managed using the "Precision".
Model Toolbar
Toolbar "Model" of geometric calculations flap
This toolbar allows to model geometric functions and variable values
match geometric calculations.
Boxes for Independent and Dependent variables
These boxes are two drop-down menus to the right of the Model button.
The first lets you choose, among the list of calculations, the
independent variable for the model function. The second allows
you to choose, among the list of calculations, the dependent variable
for the model function.
Modeling button
Once the chosen the independent and the dependent variables this button
allows several actions.
Table
Opens a table of values of the variables with a graphic display.
Test already created function
Let you choose a previously created function in the algebra tab and
test it as a function modelling the dependency between the independent
and the dependent variables.
Create function model
Let you enter a formula and a domain to create a function in the
algebra tab and
to test it as a function modelling the dependency between the
independent
and the dependent variables.
Computation of model function by Casyopee
When you choose this entry the domain and a formula
for the model function are computed by Casyopee.
